DETAILS

Day 1 Arrival in Leh

In the morning, fly from Delhi to Leh. On arrival at Ladakh, meet our representative. Check-in to the pre-booked hotel. Take rest and be acclimatized. Visit the local market of Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2 Leh Local

Today, we shall go on a sightseeing tour to some important monasteries in the area. We will be visiting Shey Gompa, which was once the summer capital of Ladakh kings; Thiksey Gompa, which is said to be one of the most beautiful structures in Ladakh and the famed Hemis Monastery belonging to Drukpa Order. Overnight stay at the guest house.

 
Day 3 Drive to Skiu and Hike to Markha
 
Drive to Skiu village and trek for 6hrs toMarkha village, overnight stay at home stays or tent. Refill your water bottle and carry sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and toiletries.
 
Day 4 Trek to Hankar
 
5 hrs trek from Markha to Hankar village, thelast village in the valley one might have two cross rivers of thigh-high water. Homestay or tents accommodation will be provided. First view of mt Kang Yatse.
 
Day 5 Trek to Thachungtse
 
5hrs trek from Hankar to thachuntse this is a comparatively easier trek with just 7km to trek. Travellers might encounter wild animals like blue sheep, marmots, ibex and foxes. Spend the night in the tents provided.
 
Day 6 Trek to Basecamp
 
Thachuntse to Kangyatse The base camp is at 5100m and is the last resting place before pushing for the summit.
 
Day 7 Training and Rest Day
 
Base camp, this day is a dedicated resting day and the Snow expedition team will issue technical equipment and teach how to use the equipment. Briefing, planning and teaming for the summit will take place in the evening. At 12:00 push for the summit.
 
Day 8 Summit Day
 
Summit and back to basecamp, reach the summit(6200mtr) and trek 5 km each way, the entire trek to the summit and back to base camp could take up to minimum 14hrs. Pack breakfast and lunch will be provided. Emergency first aid kids and oxygen cylinders will also be provided.
 
Day 9 Trek to Chogdho via Kongmorula Pass and Drive back to leh
8hrs trek from Base camp to Chokdo village crossing the Kongmaru la Pass 5150mtr.From the pass you can see the beautiful view and walking down to the valley to reach chokdo village. Drive to Leh 2hr. Overnight at hotel/guest house.
 
Day 10 Departure to Home
